If you have an idea that you’d like to talk to us about, we recommend filling out our Google Form to provide us with the information we’ll need to reach out. When we receive it, we can reach out via email or text to get a better idea of the details and budget. Once we have a good understanding of the job, we can offer you a quote and see if you would like to move forward. You are under no obligation to pay us anything until we send you our disclosures and collect payment.
Unfortunately, our insurance does not cover having customers on the premisise. We do, however, frequently bring our portable equipment to festivals and shows, which allows the general public to see us in action.
To find out where we’ll be next, please follow us on Instagram and check out our Events page.
Our fees depend entirely on what is being done. Some of our more simple engravings cost just $5 at a festsival. Outside of festival offerings, our prices generally start around $20, averaging around $1/minute for machine time. We also offer design services for $1/minute (in 30-minute increments.)
To give you a rough idea of what to expect on some of our most popular items, see the list below.
- Custom tumbler = ~$35
- Coaster set = ~$30
- Glass ornament =~$15
- Keychain =~$15
- Cutting Board =~$55
- Ceramic Mug =~$12.50
- Memorial Stone =~$40
- Anodized Flask =~$25
Please note: Prices are often affected by item color, material, size, and popularity.
Possibly! We offer our services for parties and special events, and (with enough lead time) can bring many of our machines along with us.
To get an idea of what our traveling services cost, please select which situation applies most closely for your event.
- We want our participants to receive free product
- For events like this, we will work with you to determine which items and designs you would like us to offer at your event. We will agree ahead of time on a pre-determined price and max quantity for each type of offering. We require a non-refundable deposit to cover our material purchases and equipment transportation, then bill you for the remainder upon completion of the event.
- For example, if you are having a local wedding with 200 guests and you would like each guest to have the option of recieving either a custom pen or flask, we would charge an initial deposit around $500 to cover pens, flasks, and transportation, then bill you later for an additional $5/person for each guest that selects an engraving.
- Our participants will pay for their own product
- For events with more than 1,000 people in attendance, we will not charge you a fee for our participation. Please note: You may make suggestions around which items we provide, but we reserve the right to make final decisions in these situations.
- For events with fewer than 1,000 people in attendance, we require a non-refundable fee of $250 for up to 6 hours. This fee entitles the producers of the event to discounts on up to 10 customizations. If our booth brings in more than $250 in profits for the day, we have been known to offer a percentage of that surplus as a rebate.
Since our items are made by hand in a one-at-a-time fashion, we don’t generally end up saving much time by processing larger quantities. Things tend to scale for us fairly linearly.
Occasionally, we are able to process things in larger batches, and are therefore able to offer a lower price-per-item on things like keychains, patches, or stickers. In those cases, we’ll generally let you know when you’ll benefit at doing a larger number…though we’re happy to do as few as you see fit!
We do work as a subcontractor for a handful of businesses, and we are happy to offer discounts to partners who ask us to process similar items frequently. If you believe that you fall into that category, please feel free to reach out to us at info@theCustomizationStation.com to see what we might be able to offer.
If you’ve filled out the form, but have not received any response, please check your spam folder for messages from info@theCustomizationStation.com. If you have checked your spam folder and still don’t see a message, please try filling out the form again and please ensure that you’ve also included a contact phone number.
While we do not generally offer refunds on customization services, we do take each case individually. Please contact us if you are not happy with your product, and we will make every effort to remedy the situation.
Occasionally, we’ll add extra goodies as a “thank you” to our friendly customers. If you receive an additional item in your package (and it’s not marked with a name you don’t recognize) there’s no need to try to give it back. It wasn’t a mistake!
We are more than happy to laser cut or engrave on your materials. We do, however, ask that you provide us with 20% overage (rounded up) to account for issues that we may encounter while setting up.
If you are not able to provide extra product, please do be aware that it is not always possible to undo mistakes, though we will try our best to either reverse or cover-up any issues that arise on your material.
When using client material, we do require a signed waiver that states that we do our best to strive for perfection, but we do not offer refunds or other such compensation for items that turn out differently from our original estimate.
We have the ability to cut thin plastics, acrylic, wood, thin metals, paper, leather, stone, fabric, ribbon, and some glass. We can also engrave on each of these items, as well as many other organic and non-organic materials.
Each of our lasers has a slightly different workable area. All of our options can reach at least an area of 4″x4″. For cutting and engraving, we can reach nearly 8″x8″ on most materials, and can process up to 24″x48″ on both acrylic and wood.
Our jumbo 3D printer can output models up to 16″ cubed. Please be advised that the print time on objects that large can take up to three days to print if you need any sort of strong infill.
Our CnC machine is quite small, but we are able to engrave on cutting boards up to 14″ x 9″. For larger boards, we recommend trying one of our laser machines.
